SPILLING SECRETS? HOW TECH AND DEVELOPMENT TEAMS CAN SIDESTEP PASSWORD PITFALLS

Software engineers and code developers face a unique set of password management challenges that can put organizational secrets in danger. Technical teams must take care to avoid embedding credentials, SSH keys, DevOps secrets and other confidential secrets into their code. Moreover, these workers can potentially risk leakage of secrets when employing shared passwords for a joint project, or when brokering connections to privileged access roles. In this webcast, Zane Bond, director of product management at Keeper Security, will look at some of the unsafe habits that developers and engineers should eliminate, and the best practices they can employ to more effectively safeguard their secrets.
